In each A1 hemineuromere, there are two of these cells, which may innervate one or both muscles, in other hemineuromeres, these is only one of these cells, which innervates both muscles (Wang et al., 2022. Each of the two of these neurons in A1 hemineuromeres sometimes only innervate one of VL3 or VL4 (Wang et al., 2022.
