Larval primary interneuron that develops from neuroblast NB3-1 of the thorax. The projections of these interneurons form a fascicle that projects through the anterior commissure (Bossing et al., 1996. Unlike the fascicle formed by abdominal 3-1I, it does not show any appreciable bifurcation in the contralateral connective at embryonic stage 17 (Bossing et al., 1996. (Bossing et al., 1996)
