Intermediate of three transverse (medial-lateral) fascicles found between the superior and inferior protocerebrum of the larval brain (Pereanu et al, 2010). It is formed by fibers of the BLAd1-4, BLAl, BLD1-4 and BLVa1/2 primary lineages (Pereanu et al, 2010; Hartenstein et al., 2015. (Hartenstein et al., 2015, Pereanu et al., 2010)
