larval great commissure [FBbt_00047942]
Main ventral commissure of the larval brain. It is a massive fiber tract that runs through the ventromedial cerebrum, ventral to the fan-shaped body primordium (Pereanu et al., 2010). It runs the full width of the central brain and contains many other fibers that connect different neuropils (Hartenstein et al., 2015). It is formed by fibers of the BLAv1/2 and BLD5 lineages (Hartenstein et al., 2015).
