Ganglion Larva Nervous system
Region of the embryonic/larval central nervous system consisting of the neuromeres of the three gnathal segments; mandibular, maxillary and labial (Hartenstein et al., 2018. Compared to thoracic and abdominal neuromeres, the number and size of primary lineages are decreased in the labial neuromere, and decrease further in each successive anterior gnathal neuromere (Rickert et al., 2018. It is found in the subesophageal zone, between the tritocerebrum and the prothoracic neuromere (Hartenstein et al., 2018. It separates from the prothoracic neuromere during metamorphosis (Kendroud et al., 2018. (Bodenstein, 1950, Kendroud et al., 2018, Rickert et al., 2018, Eschbach and Zlatic, 2020, Hartenstein et al., 2018)
