Its primary neurite extends dorsomedially arborizing across the midline, with both dendritic and axonal domains extending anteroposteriorly. It receives input from Basin-2 (Ohyama et al., 2015. This is a nociceptive integrator neuron, i.e. it is a node of convergence for multiple neurons carrying nociceptive information (Burgos et al., 2018. (Burgos et al., 2018, Ohyama et al., 2015)
