Muscle 78a in Lawrence, 1982 (following Miller, 1950 nomenclature) is the anteriormost of two small muscles described as attaching near the base of the haltere - so probably corresponds to the haltere basalare muscle group in Dickerson et al., 2019 and Ehrhardt et al. (2023).
