Adult neuron of the dopaminergic PPL1 cluster, whose main projection terminates in fan-shaped body layer 5 with a large-field arborization pattern consisting of mainly presynaptic terminals (Hulse et al., 2021. It receives input in the superior medial and intermediate protocerebra, the crepine and the rubus (Hulse et al., 2021. There is one of these cells per hemisphere (Hulse et al., 2021 and it develops from the CP2 neuroblast (Kandimalla et al., 2023. (Kandimalla et al., 2023, Hulse et al., 2021)
