This region receives input from the dorsal pharyngeal sense organ, the ventral pharyngeal sense organ, the posterior pharyngeal sense organ, the dorsal pharyngeal organ, the terminal organ, and the ventral pharyngeal sense organ (Colomb et al., 2007.
