EG neuron [FBbt_00001579]
Interneuron that is part of a cluster of 10-12 eagle (FBgn0000560) expressing neurons deriving from multiple neuroblasts. Axons extend across the midline via the anterior commissure. (Higashijima et al., 1996, Garbe et al., 2007)

Larva Nervous system primary neuron
Interneuron that is part of a cluster of 10-12 eagle (FBgn0000560) expressing neurons deriving from multiple neuroblasts. Axons extend across the midline via the anterior commissure. (Higashijima et al., 1996, Garbe et al., 2007)
Higashijima et al., 1996 point out that some, if not all, of the EL neurons belong to the EG neurons, as based on enhancer trap and immunolabelling studies.
