Adult descending neuron of the posterior brain of the DNpe055 group (Berg et al., 2025. It receives input in the ipsilateral superior medial protocerebrum, posterior lateral protocerebrum, inferior clamp, antler, superior posterior slope and inferior posterior slope, the contralateral superior posterior slope, and the cervical connective, gnathal ganglion, inferior bridge, lower tectulum and intermediate tectulum (Berg et al., 2025. It sends output to the ipsilateral antennal mechanosensory and motor center, superior posterior slope, inferior posterior slope, wing neuropil, haltere neuropil, T1 leg neuropil, T3 leg neuropil and neck neuropil, and the gnathal ganglion, lower tectulum, intermediate tectulum and abdominal neuromere (Berg et al., 2025. Its predicted neurotransmitter is acetylcholine (Eckstein et al., 2024; Berg et al., 2025. (Eckstein et al., 2024, Dorkenwald et al., 2024)
