DNp102 [FBbt_20001967]
DNp102
ID: FBbt_20001967
Adult descending neuron of the posterior brain of the DNp102 group (Berg et al., 2025. It belongs to the PSp2 hemilineage (Berg et al., 2025. It receives input in the ipsilateral lateral accessory lobe, epaulette, vest, posterior lateral protocerebrum, inferior clamp, wedge, superior posterior slope, inferior posterior slope, wing neuropil, T1 leg neuropil, T2 leg neuropil and T3 leg neuropil, and the cervical connective, gnathal ganglion, inferior bridge, lower tectulum, intermediate tectulum and abdominal neuromere (Berg et al., 2025. It sends output to the ipsilateral superior posterior slope, inferior posterior slope, wing neuropil, haltere neuropil, T1 leg neuropil, T2 leg neuropil, T3 leg neuropil and neck neuropil, and the gnathal ganglion, lower tectulum, intermediate tectulum and abdominal neuromere (Berg et al., 2025. Its predicted neurotransmitter is acetylcholine (Eckstein et al., 2024; Berg et al., 2025. (Eckstein et al., 2024, Dorkenwald et al., 2024)
Cell type identified in multiple EM datasets (Scheffer et al., 2020; Schlegel et al., 2024; Dorkenwald et al., 2024; Marin et al., 2024; Berg et al., 2025. Synapse locations are given where each cell of this type in neuprint has at least 10 connections. Hemilineage information from neuprint, though original source not clear.
