DNa11 [FBbt_20003474]

Adult descending neuron of the anterior dorsal brain of the DNa11 group (Berg et al., 2025. It belongs to the WEDd1 hemilineage (Berg et al., 2025. It receives input in the ipsilateral lateral accessory lobe, gorget, epaulette, vest, posterior ventrolateral protocerebrum, anterior ventrolateral protocerebrum, inferior clamp, wedge, superior posterior slope, inferior posterior slope, flange, cantle, T1 leg neuropil, T2 leg neuropil and T3 leg neuropil, and the gnathal ganglion, inferior bridge, lower tectulum and abdominal neuromere (Berg et al., 2025. It sends output to the ipsilateral lateral accessory lobe, gorget, epaulette, vest, posterior ventrolateral protocerebrum, inferior clamp, wedge, superior posterior slope, inferior posterior slope, flange, T1 leg neuropil, T2 leg neuropil and T3 leg neuropil, and the gnathal ganglion, inferior bridge, lower tectulum, intermediate tectulum and abdominal neuromere (Berg et al., 2025. Its predicted neurotransmitter is acetylcholine (Eckstein et al., 2024; Berg et al., 2025. (Eckstein et al., 2024, Dorkenwald et al., 2024)

Cell type identified in multiple EM datasets (Scheffer et al., 2020; Schlegel et al., 2024; Dorkenwald et al., 2024; Marin et al., 2024; Berg et al., 2025. Synapse locations are given where each cell of this type in neuprint has at least 10 connections. Hemilineage information from neuprint, though original source not clear.
