Adult unilateral DN1p neuron with arbors extending medially and laterally in the superior protocerebrum, but synapses concentrated in the more medial part of the cell (Schlegel et al., 2024; Dorkenwald et al., 2024; Reinhard et al., 2024. It is a putative embryonic-born neuron (Schlegel et al., 2024; Dorkenwald et al., 2024. There are approximately two of these cells per hemisphere (Schlegel et al., 2024; Dorkenwald et al., 2024; Reinhard et al., 2024. (Reinhard et al., 2024, Dorkenwald et al., 2024)
