anterior superior transverse fascicle [FBbt_00049199]

Anteriormost of three transverse (medial-lateral) fascicles found between the superior and inferior protocerebrum (Pereanu et al, 2010). It has a conspicuous U-shape that demarcates the boundary of the superior lateral protocerebrum (Pereanu et al, 2010). It is formed by fibers of the DPLal1-3 lineages (Pereanu et al, 2010; Lovick et al., 2013; Hartenstein et al., 2015. (Lovick et al., 2013, Hartenstein et al., 2015, Pereanu et al., 2010)
