Projection neuron whose cell body is located posteriorly to the ventrolateral protocerebrum (VLP). Ipsilaterally, it innervates the antennal mechanosensory and motor center (AMMC) and posterior VLP. It projects across the midline via the superior AMMC commissure to innervate the posterior VLP region. (Clemens et al., 2015)
