It is formed by hemilineage 6B, 12B and 23B neurons, which remain closely-associated in this neuromere and cross the midline as a single commissure (Court et al., 2020. It is found slightly posterior and ventral to the prothoracic anterior posterior intermediate commissure (Court et al., 2020. (Court et al., 2020)
