It is delimited anteriorly by the entry points of the neuroglian-positive tracts from the anterior mesothoracic lineages 2, 7, 8, 10, 15 and 16 (Court et al., 2020. The posterior margin is defined by the entry points of the neuroglian-positive tracts from the posterior mesothoracic lineages 0, 3, 6, 12, 11, 19, 21 and 23, all of which project anteriorly into the neuromere (Court et al., 2020.
