Dorsal longitudinal muscle of abdominal segment 1 found in the lateral region of the segment. It tapers anteriorly to attach to the anterior border of the first abdominal tergite and attaches posteriorly to the second abdominal tergite. It is composed of several fibers. (Miller, 1950)
